Evaluation of Cervix at Risk with Pap Smear and with Colposcopy

Background: Unhealthy cervix is a very common finding in Bangladesh due to poor genital hygiene, malnutrition, and multiparity. Cervical Cancer serious health problem other developing countries. preventable cancer long preinvasive state available cervical screening program like pap smear, colposcopy etc. Upon detection the treatment of pre-invasive lesions highly effective. The objective our study observe evaluate suspicious upon specimen collection by smear viewing them when required. 
 Materials methods: This descriptive type observational cross-sectional conducted Department Obstetrics Gynecology BBMH, Chittagong over period six months from December 2020 June 2021. A total 64 women were selected, who came hospital outdoor for persistent vaginal discharge, post coital bleeding, postmenopausal bleeding. thorough general, systemic pelvic examination was done. Pap done had inflammation on cases. Multiple variables age marriage first intercourse, parity contraception taken consideration. data obtained recorded statistically analyzed. Results: Out minimum 30 maximum 62 years with mean 32.6 ± 7.2 years. Of unhealthy, inflammatory cases, 33 (51.6%) patients colposcopically positive CIN. Then histopathological evaluation biopsy material those It revealed 12 (36.3%) abnormal cytology. Patients CIN experienced early marriage, child birth, also higher parities than without CIN.
 Conclusion: should that lesion one commonest problems among females worldwide, including Bangladesh. importance emphasizing proper carcinoma decline incidence mortality developed countries.
